EV Charger Installation

You can choose between Tethered & Untethered Chargers

Tethered

  • – Most electric car owners choose to buy tethered chargers, and they’re the most common type of home EV charger that you’ll see.

  • – A tethered home charger has a cable attached for you to plug into the car.

  • – Tethered EV chargers are convenient as you simply uncoil the attached cable and plug it into your vehicle, handy in bad weather.

Untethered

  • – Untethered chargers also known as socketed, are universal allowing for use of your own cables.

  • – Most electric vehicles come with a charge cable in the boot, which is used to store it, but can be a little messy in bad weather

  • – Socketed chargers are great if you prefer the neater look to the install if fitted to a front facing wall without the coiled cable.
